Chris went back to Canada on Saturday and I was lonely until a little visitor arrived. He landed on my balcony yesterday afternoon...seemed lost and unable to fly with no Mom in sight. It was rainy and cold so the only thing to do was bring him in. He spen the night with a hot water bottle in my laundry basket and is still here today. My vet friend says to keep putting him out to see if he'll fly away. The last time I tried, he stayed out for a few minutes and then paced back and forth to the door until I let him in. When I opened the door, he walked straight in, across the living room and down the hall to the bathroom. I think he thinks he deserves more than a basket now that he's been here 2 days. He is eating a drinking a little bit with gentle encouragement but seems sleepy and still can't fly so I hope he'll be okay.
How could I not let him in????
Thinking about flying away.

12th of May! Wow - that's soon! Hopefully Peetie won't mind house sitting when you are back in Canada! You might get good karma from this - Peetie will probably tell all his friends not to poop on your balcony... One good turn deserves another!
Good luck on exams.

Good luck on exams Kelly:) You are the only person I know who would end up rescuing a pigeon while writing exams for a medical degree in a country that you aren't from when you Husband has gone back home!
I may need you advice soon on how to cope with a Husband away as Brian just left for Fort Mac today! Lucky for me he is only gone 10 days at a time.
Peetie looks like he went through a rough one-nighter, but he is cute! You are the only one I know that would take in a pigeon... that's why we love you so much!! You could be up for no poop and maybe even more friends should he decide to invite all his friends in for food and shelter. Either way you look at it, it sounds like a fun way to end your first year in Ireland! Good luck on your exams - the countdown to finishing and coming home begins!
