Warsaw!!
Unfortunately for us (but fortunately for them) our good friends Kolin and Weronika got married in Canada over Christmas. Since we knew we'd be unable to attend (traveling in Jordan, see below) we made plans to catch the other side of the celebration. Weronika grew up in Warsaw and all of her Polish family and friends couldn't make the trip to Canada so they planned a second party.

We arrived a day early and were able to walk around the city, stopping in for coffees, beer, and perogies wherever suited. Kolin and Weronika were fantastic guides and knew all the sweet spots.

After wandering (and beer sampling) in town we decided to check out their apartment for some relaxing, visiting, and more beer sampling. From left: Kolin, Kelly, Fraser (Kolin's brother who flew up from Rome) and Weronika.
What a feast!! For the wedding dinner we were all stuffed before the main dishes came. Even though Kell was the only Veg in the crowd they had made a special menu for her.
They showed a nice video of the ceremony in Canada.

Speeches. Kolin has done a great job of learning Polish! Seriously.
